My practice involves the defence of both accident benefits and tort claims of all types. Providing opinions is a particular area of expertise, especially with regard to automobile and property coverage. I am regularly retained to complete settlement of contentious property claims and to prosecute and defend insurance fraud.

I have appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court and the Superior Court of Justice, as well as the Financial Services Commission of Ontario Tribunal. I also have experience defending Human Rights Tribunal complaints.

Before coming to the practice of law, I was an insurance adjuster, starting at Zurich Insurance Company in 1976, and then becoming an independent adjuster in 1982. In 1997, I began an undergraduate degree while self-employed full time and entered law school in 1999. I was called to the bar in 2004.
