Oren has been with Schultz Frost from the beginning. A 2015 Osgoode Hall graduate, Oren's practice focuses on the defence of first party insurance disputes, the defense of third party tort claims, product liability, occupiers' liability, fraud defense and property loss. During articles, Oren juniored on a FSCO Arbitration, wrote numerous Facta, and sharpened his skills in the world of Ontario accident benefits and tort claims. He provides strategic advice and achieves excellent results.
During law school, Oren volunteered with Community Legal Aid and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association where his efforts resulted in a published report on police accountability. Oren was also a finalist in Osgoode Hall's Hicks Morley moot competition. Oren spent his second year summer working at a prominent criminal law firm in Toronto where he appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
Prior to law school, Oren obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees at the University of Windsor. His published thesis analyzed the factors underlying North Korean nuclear proliferation and remains relevant.
Outside of law, Oren's interests include fitness, weight training, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Raptors.
